The Best Toner Ever - Life of Loops

I used to be one of those people who only used a bar of soap to wash their face.

Then one day years ago, a co-worker mentioned she knew of a girl who washed their face with a bar of soap and made it sound like it was a bad thing.

Being the anxious and passive human I am, I of course nodded in agreement while thinking, “Yeah, but I wonder if it’s Dove?”.

I love Dove.

Besides a couples of times a month around my period or when I’m just feeling stressed out about something, my face has never been super prone to breakouts. I’ve been blessed.

So, I didn’t understand with my face being mostly clear how the bar of soap cleanliness was not enough? Anywho, I remembered her comment and decided I would add more to my face routine.

By more, I meant…”I guess I could try adding toner too. That’s a thing right?”

Now I don’t know what constitutes a good toner for you but when I went to the store to find a toner I couldn’t help but being disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, there are so many options which is cool.

However, have you seen the ingredients list on the various toners they have available??

I can’t believe the list of ingredients, some of which I have no idea what they are.

So you could imagine my surprise when I came across one that had less than all the others.

I don’t know about you, but that’s what I’m talkin’ about…

I don’t use this every night because there are a couple of days when I pass out and end up falling asleep with my make-up on…I know right, cringe!. But on the days when I do go through the routine, I apply this with a cotton ball after I wash my face.

I like to keep mine in my mini fridge because to me it feels so much more refreshing when it touches my chubby face with it’s coldness. Yum.
